Secondz curry puffs are handmade in our Brooklyn kitchen and chef‑tested to deliver bold, layered flavor in a ready‑to‑cook format. Each puff is a generous 5" — about double the size of typical restaurant versions — with a flaky, butter‑forward pastry and densely seasoned fillings that range from curried chicken to regional, plant‑forward and fusion flavors. We flash‑freeze puffs for freshness so you can enjoy consistent, bakery‑quality results at home (bake, air‑fry, or fry in minutes).
Alongside our frozen puffs, our ready‑to‑eat collection (baos, desserts, and market items) offers freshly prepared flavors you can eat immediately at pop‑ups, markets, or retail partners — same Secondz attention to ingredient integrity and flavor, just a different format and fulfillment path. In short: bigger portions, thoughtful fillings, and repeatable quality whether you’re grabbing something fresh now or cooking from frozen later.

When stored at 0°F or below and kept in airtight packaging, our products maintain their best quality for up to 1 year. While freezing can extend safety beyond this period, we recommend consuming within 1 year to ensure optimal flavor and texture. Proper storage and handling are essential for maintaining product integrity.

Local delivery runs on Saturdays between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM. Order cutoff is midnight the day before your requested delivery. We’ll confirm your ETA by email (and by text if you provide a phone number). We’ll try our best to accommodate requests outside these delivery times and cutoffs when possible, but they are not guaranteed.

We’re thrilled to share that we now ship across the entire continental USA!
While we deliver to all states, we’ve optimized same-day and one-day delivery for the following areas: Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
For customers outside these states, you’re absolutely covered too! We’re continually working on improving shipping options to ensure the best balance of quality, speed, and affordability. Please bear with us as we refine this process to better serve you.
At this time, we’re unable to ship to Alaska and Hawaii due to restrictions on dry ice shipping.

Yes, you can make changes to your order or request a shipment hold within three hours of placing it. To do this, please contact us immediately via Chat or by calling (914) 279-0788. Unfortunately, we cannot make changes after the 3 hour window due to our processing systems.

We mainly ship on Mondays. As we grow, we'll continue to add more shipping days of the week.
Once processed and shipped, your order will be in transit with the carrier for up to 1 day. You will receive a shipping confirmation email once your order has been shipped. Shipping days and times are subject to change, and shipping dates are dependent upon recipient location. If you have any questions about your order, please contact support@getsecondz.com.

We use dry ice (more in Summer than Winter) and insulated liners to maintain freezing temperatures. If your puffs arrive not cold to the touch, contact us at support@getsecondz.com or (914) 279-0788.

The cost of shipping frozen food is extremely high due to the weight and cost of shipping with dry ice. We are working hard to try to bring costs down to make so more people can enjoy Secondz.

Please get in touch with our customer service team at hello@getsecondz.com to review your order details. If it is too late to cancel an order, we can work with you to reschedule the shipment instead.

If your puffs arrived and are no longer cold to the touch, please take a picture of the product and contact our customer service team with your order number for a replacement, free of charge. Do not consume or refreeze puffs that are no longer cold.

In order to keep our products safe and frozen when they reach you, we need to pack dry ice together with it. 5lbs of dry ice may last up to 24 hours so for food safety reasons, we have to rule out shipping options that will not get the product to you quickly and safely.

If your package is not for same-day delivery, it contains dry ice to maintain freshness.
Please handle with care due to the extremely cold temperature of -109°F (-78°C).
Safety Precautions
- Avoid skin and eye contact: Do not allow dry ice to touch bare skin. Always wear protective gloves when handling.
- Do not ingest: Dry ice is not safe for consumption and should not be used in beverages. Ingestion may cause severe internal injuries.
- Proper disposal: Do not dispose of dry ice in sewers, sinks, or toilets. Allow it to evaporate in a well-ventilated area.
- Protect surfaces: Direct contact with dry ice may damage certain surfaces. Use protective barriers when necessary.
- Keep away from children: Store and handle dry ice out of reach of children.

Why are there yellow stains on the dough?
Why are there yellow stains on the dough?
If you've ordered a curry puff, it is most likely that some of the filling may have touched the exterior of the puff. Once it's cooked, you will likely not even see the yellow stains. Rest assured, this does not affect the flavor of the puff.
At Secondz, we try to create the perfect puff but sometimes, they do come with a "little extra". We are proud of our mission to not waste food so we hope you'll enjoy it regardless.
Why does the puffs open up during cooking?
Why does the puffs open up during cooking?
There are a few possible culprits here.
- The product might not have been frozen before cooking. The dough is made from butter and if left to sit at room temperature for awhile, it may start to melt.
- Overfilling the puffs is another reason as the fillings may expand and cause the pastry to open up. We measure the filling for every pastry and we like to over-deliver, not under-deliver, hence there is a possibility that this may be fuller than usual.
- It may also be possible that there is a hole where the crimp edges are which allowed the filling to flow through.
All of these reasons do not affect the quality and flavor of the product, just the presentation, so we hope you'll give it a second chance to be eaten.
